The Center for Development and Democracy (CDD) was a partner and supporter of the a large-scale international conference “Disinformation Alert” , that Tbilisi hosted on November 21-22.

The Center for Development and Democracy (CDD) was a partner and supporter of the a large-scale international conference “Disinformation Alert” , that Tbilisi hosted on November 21-22. 

The conference was held for the first time and the overall goal of the conference was to better understand the threat of pro-Kremlin disinformation across the EU’s neighbourhood and develop a more coordinated response.

Within the conference, Executive Director of CDD Ketevan Chachava also participated in a panel discussion, where she shared the experience on CDD's unique experience as a best practice in increasing the engagement of religious groups in European and Euro-Atlantic integration processes.

The conference was a part of the Strategic Communications Week that was held on 18-22 November.

Alongside with CDD conference's partners and supporters were: the European External Action Service and the EU delegation in Georgia, Sector 3 – Hub for Development, Endowment “ProDemos”, the Government of Georgia, the Parliament of Georgia, the Information Centre on NATO and EU.
