Another Public discussion of the project draft of constitutional law on transition process to proportional electoral system was held in Mtskheta, Mtskheta-Mtianeti region.

Executive Director of CDD Ketevan Chachava provided the local population with information about the importance of transition to the new electoral system, its advantages as well as specific characteristics of both presented draft projects.

CDD as a successful observation mission and a member of the working group on Electoral Legislation Reform actively participates in the public discussions across the country from 13 – 30 September, 2019.

Representatives of the parliamentary and non-parliamentary political parties, observation missions, constitutionals and experts also participate in the public discussions.
